Wedding Venue Review: Easton Grange

Wedding venue Easton Grange in Ipswich

Excellent wedding venue in the Suffolk countryside

Do you ever get decision fatigue? Blinded by so many options it's hard to weigh up all the pros and cons...I know I do. Sometimes I wish I could just wave a magic wand and have everything taken care of for me.

That's what makes Easton Grange worth exploring when you’re planning your wedding day. It's a venue where everything is taken care of for you, in wonderful surroundings, by an exceptional team that are experienced at hosting great events and memorable weddings.

Easton Grange is located just north of Ipswich (between Woodbridge and Framlingham, Suffolk) with the river Deben flowing through the grounds. There are few places in rural Suffolk that are so well prepared to host 200+ wedding guests for the whole day.

Where you say I Do

The ceremony room is a beautiful Suffolk barn with exposed beams and lots of natural light (a photographer’s dream). It has capacity to seat up to 200 guests. The amazing feature of Easton Grange is there is a separate reception barn - this means you don't have to vacate the room after your ceremony while they transform the space for the wedding breakfast; you can simply move to the reception barn for a seamless transition into the evening!

There is also the option of an outdoor ceremony at this Ipswich wedding venue, with your guests seated on the hill so everyone can see. It’s a perfect space for a humanist ceremony.

Gorgeous grounds for your wedding portraits

The outside space at this venue is vast. The river Deben flows through the grounds with a beautiful bridge crossing it - a popular spot for portraits. In fact, there are a variety of great locations for wedding portraits with the green Suffolk countryside as the backdrop to your day.

If the weather is good, you have a beautiful courtyard area and the grounds to explore during the drinks reception and canapes. Whilst you are off having your wedding portraits, your guests will have lots to be doing with canapes, drinks, garden games... your on-site wedding planner will help you arrange all the things that your guests will enjoy.

Dancing the night away

The reception barn has plenty of space, natural light and all the facilities you’d expect from a venue of this quality. For those that would like a few extra guests to the evening party, the reception capacity is 250 people. Easton Grange have a late alcohol licence and full bar, as well as their own chefs capable of producing exceptional food that they take great care to source locally and cook beautifully. There is plenty of room for a live band to get the party started.
