Real wedding at Easton Grange, Ipswich
On a chilly January afternoon, we met Katie and Jack at Orwell Country Park for their engagement portraits. They are used to frosty walks in the woods with their little dog, Dexter, so we thought it would be the ideal thing to do for their pre-wedding portraits.
We had a fabulous time getting to know each other ahead of their wedding in the summer and Dexter did so well! They chose to have their portraits in January so they could use one of the photos on their wedding invitations - which came out beautifully by the way.
Pet friendly wedding venue
This was our first wedding at Easton Grange and it was a delight. The venue is purpose built for weddings so they have thought of everything. Katie got ready with her bridesmaids in the getting ready suite where everything went without a hitch. Then she made her way to the ceremony barn where Jack was nervously waiting for his bride. Easton Grange is also a pet friendly wedding venue, so Dexter was there dressed up for the occasion in his bow tie - so cute!
Although, if you have pets at your wedding, you have to be prepared for anything. Just as we were about to do the confetti shot, Dexter comes running round in all his excitement and rips the veil straight from the brides head! A funny moment, caught on camera, of course. We reset and off they went again into the cloud of confetti.
Wedding photography at Easton Grange
Easton Grange is a photographers dream for portraits. The River Deben runs right through the grounds here with a beautiful bridge that is the perfect spot for photos. But not only this, every direction you look are exquisitely landscaped gardens or wild meadows just waiting for a photo opportunity. So we took some time exploring the grounds for a variety of natural, beautiful wedding portraits before joining the guests for canapés and garden games.
